What happens with absent students or new starters?
We do our best to include every Year 6 pupil in their leavers pack — even if they were absent on photo day or joined the class later in the year.
📸 If a student was absent on photo day
We’ll highlight any absentees in the confirmation email we send you. To still include them:
You can provide a head-and-shoulders photo taken on a plain background
Email it to staffboards@wrates.co.uk along with the pupil’s name and class
We’ll add them to the pack just like everyone else.
🆕 If a pupil joins later in the year
New starters can still receive a leavers pack if:
A suitable photo is supplied
The school lets us know about the addition in time for production
If we’re returning to school for another photography session, they can also be photographed then.
🎁 Will they receive the same pack?
Yes, their fold-out book and sticker sheet will be produced and packaged just like the rest of the class.
